Agreements

There are several different private contracts that a person can enter into with another person. These private contracts are often referred to as agreements, or more historically as minutes of settlement. At Family Central we special in the drafting of these domestic contracts, and we tailor these agreements to each clients needs. We regularly complete the following agreements:

o   Cohabitation Agreements;

o   Prenuptial Agreements;

o   Postnuptial Agreements; and

o   Separation Agreements.

The drafting of these agreements includes specific legal knowledge where we can structure agreements to best protect clients beyond lay person drafted agreements.It is essential that agreements align to the legislative framework that govern the legal issues they seek to address. If not, these agreements are more likely to be challenged and/or experience failure in being complied with.  In addition to highly specific legal information and knowledge, we also work to ensure that agreements speak to the specific needs and priorities of clients. We know that each client wants to be heard prior to leaving with an executed agreement that addresses their matters comprehensively and holistically.
